Around 4:30 am on January 29, 2024, Boise Police responded to W. Silver City Ct. for a reported shooting victim. When officers arrived they immediately secured the scene and began providing medical care to the adult male victim. Ada County Paramedics soon took over and rushed the victim to a local hospital for further treatment of life-threatening injuries. Boise Police detectives began an investigation, interviewed multiple subjects, and identified Aaron Black as a possible suspect. Reports indicated that the suspect and the victim were talking loudly inside the home before the shooting occurred. Upon further investigation, Black was taken to a local hospital to be cleared before being arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail.
