On December 22, 2023, around 6:30 pm Boise Police responded to a report of a vehicle vs pedestrian crash on Cloverdale Road near W. Mesquite. First responders performed life-saving measures but sadly the adult male pedestrian passed away at the scene. Boise Police detectives and a crash reconstruction team responded and Cloverdale Road between Executive and Fairview is expected to be closed for the next few hours. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information or who may have witnessed something is asked to call Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790. Drivers are also urged to avoid the area.
The Ada County Coroner will identify the victim pending notification of next of kin.
