A Designation of Historic Districts application is required in order to establish an Historic District. The Historic Preservation Commission, either on its own initiative or upon the request of the City Council, or upon the request of one or more owners of property in the area of a proposed Historic District, may recommend the designation of one or more Historic Districts.
