St. Luke's Hospital Est. 1902

Honoring St. Luke's physicians & nurses
Past-Present-Future

Founded as a six-bed frontier hospital in Boise in 1902, St. Luke’s has evolved to become a regional leader in healthcare innovation. In 2017, St. Luke’s is a network of full-service hospitals, physician clinics and cancer centers working together and sharing resources, skills and knowledge to provide the best possible care to the people of Idaho, Oregon, Nevada and beyond.

As the first Idaho-based, locally governed, not-for-profit health system, St. Luke’s is a vital part of the communities it serves. Led by local physicians and board members with thousands of dedicated caregivers, St. Luke’s is committed to delivering the highest quality care to those in medical need, regardless of their ability to pay. With a mission “To improve the health of the people in the communities we serve,” St. Luke’s is the region’s leader in heart, cancer, women’s, and children’s services. Its hospitals and cancer centers are nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, with prestigious awards, accreditations and designations reflecting the exceptional care that’s synonymous with the St. Luke's name.
